Hi everyone,

The site is doing so well I hardly have time to keep up with things! I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the subscribers to the site for their timely and encouraging comments!

I have decided to open up the site and take it to the next level by becoming more serious about the content and purpose of the site. I still want to network with Christian drummers all over the world and want the site to be a useful and encouraging site for all drummers.

I am looking for drummers (or other musos!) who like to blog about what they love, namely drumming or playing music for God! I am opening up the site for people to register and to be able to contribute to the site with their articles/posts/stories/tips etc..

So, go ahead and register on the site and once registered, I will allow you to post. All posts will, at first, be moderated (i.e. you cannot publish without me checking it first! This is for your protection and mine!) but as we go I should be able to allow more and more people higher permissions to publish their own stuff.

Register here.

Thanks a lot, looking forward to some great blogging!

Matt

    Matthew,
Sounds interesting. I’ll be curious to see the response. Is the topic wide open to general “Christian Drumming” or are you looking for posts that fit into a slimmer niche?

I am looking for drummers who are Christians who like to write about drums or related stuff. The scope of writing, at the moment, can be anything related to the purpose of the site but that is not written in stone, I am keen to begin interacting with other Christian drummers and there may be posts that are not really ’spiritual’ in a sense, but just an interesting topic of conversation on drums in general. The ultimate goal is the networking, conversing and interacting of Christian drummers all over the world! So, the site will probably go through some changes over the next year!

How do we post once we’ve registered?

Once I have received notification of your registration I will elevate your permissions in the blog and you will be able to write posts. You will not be able to publish them immediately, posts are moderated (checked) first. As time goes and if the stuff you write is trustworthy, I will elevate your permissions further so you can post and publish without right away! Enjoy! If you have any questions, email me and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. Thanks.
