As more and more people find the web site through Google and Yahoo etc.., it’s great to have links from other web sites of related interest to drive traffic to the site so that more drummers can connect via the site and forum.
For that reason I have created some live feed banners using Feedburner. These banners rotate through the most recent Christian Drummer headlines and click through to the feeds. I would love it if you have a web site that you could place one of the following banners on. I will gladly link back to your site (if appropriate) in thanks. You have the bonus of having live information from The Christian Drummer placed on your site and always showing the latest post headlines on your site. Banners can also be customised (by myself) to suit the colours of your site’s theme too, just ask!
I don’t get anything from this, money-wise, it’s not advertising, it’s just another way of helping people find the site and promoting the content for the encouragement of Christian drummers worldwide! It also helps me track the usefulness of the site and what articles people are reading. The Christian Drummer web site is now officially 2 years old!
The beat that unites us, the heartbeat of God
What I have loved about running the Christian Drummer site is that fact that I have been connecting with drummers all over the world that share the same thing besides being drummers. We share our faith in God, in Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. It has been absolutely amazing how there has been this connection that allows us to develop a relationship outside of drumming but have drumming be the common bond and our Christianity be the glue for that bond.
Drummers in Romania, Brazil, Czech Republic, Malaysia, Netherlands, America, Canada, South Africa, United Kingdom and Australia – all connected, all united by God. It is still so encouraging to hear from drummers all over the world – to hear how they’re doing, what they’re doing and how they see their roles as drummers in the church and outside of it. It encourages me when someone writes and tells me how an article on The Christian Drummer web site has encouraged them.
The same way rhythm ties all sound and music together, our faith in God and our relationship with Him ties our relationships with others together. This sense of unity is something amazing to behold and great to be a part of.
So, as we go into the third year of this site being online, may I thank everyone who comments on an article and also encourage you that all are welcome to submit articles or ideas for the site at any time!

Hi everyone,
Apologies for the quietness on the site! There is another article coming as usual on the 1st and I have a great article on cymbals coming in November. As you may or may not know, I am living in England due to a career change and hope to be moving into a house on the 1st of October. Anita and the kids join me then a few days later – I have not seen them since I moved here on the 1st of September. It’s been crazy here trying to get things organised but I know God is my provider and my guide, my helper and my father so how can I go wrong? 
An interview with Stew Smith from Delirious is coming up shortly too, keep your eyes on this space! I will get some video clips together too from the Psalm Drummer Summer School as there was some really cool stuff there!
