Hey everybody,

I know it’s been quiet on the Global Solo front and I am sure you are all waiting to know when it starts and what you can do! At least, I hope you are!

I thought I’d better bring you up to speed:

The Global Solo Project begins in June/July and will consist of drummers uploading video of themselves playing for God’s glory, playing the heartbeat of God for their nation and the nations of the world. Each solo will have a specific pattern (that I provide) somewhere for a bar that everyone will be asked to play to show a commitment to the unity of Christian drummers worldwide.

The videos will be hosted on The Christian Drummer site and each person who submits a solo will be showcased on the site with a page about who they are, what they do etc..

EVERYONE is welcome, no matter what skill level or age. PERCUSSION/HAND DRUMS or kit players welcome! It’s not just for kit players, it’s for everyone who has rhythm inside and wants to express it!

Looking forward to seeing and hearing your ideas!

You sexy thang...Hey everyone, it’s my birthday today! :)

Gifts in the form of drums or pecussion are most welcome, money is always welcome, an island paradise somewhere would be nice if you’re in a generous mood…

Have a great day everyone! :)

Welcome Mick, it’s really great to have you on board! I know I am looking forward at what else you can share with Christian drummers all over the world!

Hi everyone,

Problem:

I hope you have come back to the site to see how things are going! Um, I kind of thought upgrading to Wordpress 2.5 was a good thing till I found out the plugin I used to manage all the subscribers to the site went all crazy on me… and deleted ALL my subscribers! ARGH!!

So, anyone who ’subscribed’ on the site… I no longer have your email address! It was a lot of people…. double argh!!

Solution:

I have decided to use a different Subscription service from now on. If you were a Subscriber to The Christian Drummer, PLEASE subscribe again using the Email box in the sidebar on the right hand side of the page.

REGISTERED USERS : Please subscribe as well, as you will not be notified of new posts as I am switching services.

I hear you saying : what about backups…? …yeah…I hear you…
