As more and more people find the web site through Google and Yahoo etc.., it’s great to have links from other web sites of related interest to drive traffic to the site so that more drummers can connect via the site and forum.

For that reason I have created some live feed banners using Feedburner. These banners rotate through the most recent Christian Drummer headlines and click through to the feeds. I would love it if you have a web site that you could place one of the following banners on. I will gladly link back to your site (if appropriate) in thanks. You have the bonus of having live information from The Christian Drummer placed on your site and always showing the latest post headlines on your site. Banners can also be customised (by myself) to suit the colours of your site’s theme too, just ask!

I don’t get anything from this, money-wise, it’s not advertising, it’s just another way of helping people find the site and promoting the content for the encouragement of Christian drummers worldwide! It also helps me track the usefulness of the site and what articles people are reading. I’d be grateful if subscribers who have their own blogs/sites could include one of the feed banners below on their site. Thanks a million!

Choose a banner below. I have included a banner preview. To get the code to place on your web site, click the ‘Grab this Headline Animator‘ and a window will pop up. Select ‘gimme the code‘ from the drop down menu. You will be given the HTML code to place on your web site. If you need help, give me a shout.

Here are the various feed banners:

n10212206133_689854_814.jpgPaul Evans is the envy of many a drummer as he was chosen to pick up where Stew Smith (Delirious?) left off. Bringing his energy and enthusiasm and wealth of drumming experience to the table, and the news that Delirious? are set to end their chapter in the book of music, Paul is a vital member of the band as they finish off probably one of the greatest chapters in their lives – but as the band have said, “The best is yet to come!”.

I had met Paul briefly at Heart to Drum ‘07 and saw him on stage bashing away. I was able to get hold of Paul and threw a few questions his way to gauge where he was at with his drumming in the band and his views on Christian drummers in the music business. Continue reading »

01_1.jpgAlthough I have been in touch with Chris for a while now over the Net, we have yet to meet! I found his blog online and have been interested in his content ever since. He is also a drummer seeking the heartbeat of God in everything we do and sheds a bit of reality in areas where sometimes we brush over so lightly we never get to the root of it all.
