I got to play with Psalm Drummers here in Northern Ireland in a place called Crumlin. Our playing was part of a Christian youth event called ‘Impact’ and involved various churches getting together to impact the community around them.

We had two days with them. The Saturday was the drum circle stuff and then the Sunday was more performance type stuff. Here is the first video from the Saturday. Enjoy!

The Gathering – Psalm Drummers Northern Ireland – will now be using Facebook to keep track of members, events, gatherings etc.

My first introduction to Simon Edwards was shortly after my wife and I had moved to Northern Ireland. I was trying to find other drummers in Northern Ireland that were Christians and even thought about starting up a Christian drummer group (before I knew about Psalm Drummers or The Gathering). This is for all drummers in Northern Ireland including anyone part of The Gathering.

The Gathering is moving to The Christian Drummer Forum to faciliate the easier posting of events and get-togethers as well as feedback and discussion for drummers in Northern Ireland.

I will no longer be posting Gathering notices on The Christian Drummer website except for items that relate to The Gathering, eg. feedback from an event.

This means that all drummers/percussionists who are part of The Gathering can register on the forum and have a central place to get all the information they need for events and communication.
